Today, braces almost seem like a rite of passage during one’s teenage years. In fact, an estimated 50 to 70 percent of U.S. children, today, will have braces before adulthood. But ask many parents of my younger patients if they or seemingly all their peers underwent orthodontic treatment when they were kids and most will tell you, no. That’s just one reason I am offering free Invisalign treatment to one lucky mom or dad!

I also want to honor parents of our patients for all they do for their children.

Often, one of my young patients will tell me during during treatment that his or her parent never had braces. Or, a patient will share with me that maybe mom or dad did have braces but her teeth have shifted back to their misaligned ways. But here’s what’s really cool. Invisalign is fast becoming my most popular treatment for adults and older teens. And for good reason. Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible. Also, because patients remove aligners before eating, they can eat whatever they want during orthodontic treatment. Another draw to Invisalign, especially for those with busy schedules, is that there are little to no adjustments to be made with the clear aligners during treatment. That means our Invisalign patients come in less frequently for check-ups compared to those who wear traditional style braces.
